It never ceases to amaze me how many things never cease to amaze me.
Whether it is a bizarre approach to Customer Service which seems designed to drive people away (e.g. "do not reply to this email" and/or having foreign call centres where nobody seems to understand my accent) or an energy supplier who deliberately inflates their customers' direct debits, bringing their own accounts massive credit balances on which they earn interest - or borrow at 0% from its customers without asking - and yet these same companies still have lots of customers. Why?
There is a mistaken belief that big=good when it comes to suppliers of everything. Many consumers seem to labour under the misapprehension that 'biggest must be best' (or, worse, 'most expensive is best' aka 'you get what you pay for'). If only choosing suppliers was that easy.
In short, some of my Blog will be about the quality of service I don't always receive and some will be about other stuff. I can't tell you what because who knows what may come up?
In the meantime, if you want a broadband supplier whose terms also include unlimited web space I recommend Freeola or without the need for web space I recommend The Phone Co-op. In both cases, if you need to, you can speak to real people who know what they are talking about. The latter also does all the same stuff as BT but at lower cost.
